About
A small puzzle studio with strong opinions about puzzle layouts.
The kind of puzzle books that were hard to find on the shelves.
WizPie is a puzzle studio. Most of the work is puzzle games and content produced for a range of publishers, alongside a list of books published under its own name. That list runs from sudoku and word search for children through to puzzles pitched at grown-up solvers, and the same principles run through all of it: grids sized to write in comfortably, difficulty paced to feel finishable, and clear, uncluttered layouts on paper that holds up to repeated use.
The process is deliberate. Each book moves through a structured design and quality-assurance cycle before going to print, and every puzzle is verified for a single valid solution. Lay-flat binding is used across the range, so each book stays open while in use.
The books are the clearest way to see the work. If a closer look would be useful, whether that is a copy to review, a sample of the puzzles, or a set built to a brief of your own, get in touch. Typos and suggestions are just as welcome.
Why these books exist
Three things worth being stubborn about
-
Designed for real attention spans
Grids sized to actually write inside, paced to feel finishable. No "level unlocked" theatre, no leaderboards, no nonsense.
-
Tested before it ships
Every book gets a small print run and goes out to solvers it was written for. Anything that trips someone up for the wrong reason gets rewritten.
-
Solutions you can trust
Every puzzle is solved twice, once by an algorithm and once by a person, before it goes anywhere near a printer.
